Types of Braces
Dr Sharaf has used a variety of brackets over the years and continue to offer treatments to his patients using the Damon bracket system, the GC bracket system as well as the standard twin bracket system. The twin bracket is a standard stainless-steel bracket that uses coloured elastics to hold the wire in place. Dr. Sharaf will use the best system depending on your case. How Long Do I Need to Wear Braces
The duration of wearing braces depends upon the individual patient’s dental condition. There is no standard timeline for wearing braces. It depends on several factors like age, dental condition, type of treatment you are receiving, etc. Braces are usually worn between 1 to 3 years for most individual cases.
What Happens after the Braces Are Removed
