Dr. Khaled A. Sharaf is the founder of Stars Orthodontics in Ottawa and a certified specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. After practicing as a general dentist for several years, he pursued advanced specialty training in Orthodontics at the University of Alberta, where he completed both clinical and research requirements to earn his Master of Orthodontics degree from the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry in 2008.

For twelve years, Dr. Sharaf practiced orthodontics in Edmonton, Alberta, where he was also affiliated with the Stollery Children's Hospital. In this capacity, he specialized in treating patients with complex craniofacial deformities, including cleft lip and palate conditions. During his tenure, he provided comprehensive orthodontic treatments, including traditional braces and modern clear aligner therapy, to hundreds of patients and their families throughout Alberta.

Credentials & Recognition

Dr. Sharaf maintains professional credentials as a registered orthodontic specialist in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and as a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Since 2013, he has held diplomate status with the American Board of Orthodontics. His expertise in advanced orthodontic techniques is recognized nationally and internationally, having been invited to lecture on various orthodontic topics to dental professionals since 2011.
